  • While serving as an Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Glassman tried 35 federal criminal jury trials including prosecutions for tax, mail and wire fraud, narcotic conspiracies, counterfeiting and obscenity.

Anthony Glassman is a veteran trial attorney having tried over 100 cases to jury verdicts including extensive experience in litigating and trying complex civil and criminal cases and related investigations involving corporations, directors and private individuals in financial and other business disputes including white collar criminal matters.

Mr. Glassman is also one of the most experienced and successful media and First Amendment attorneys in the United States having obtained close to $10,000,000 in jury verdicts against the New York Times on behalf of the then largest shareholder of Santa Barbara Savings and Loan; a $500,000 settlement on behalf of Al Shugart, founder of Seagate Technology, against the Consumer Attorneys of California; successfully defended Playboy founder Hugh Hefner against personal defamation claims and having successfully sued Larry Flynt and Hustler Magazine for invasion of privacy.

Mr. Glassman has also represented corporations and individuals in wrongful termination and sexual harassment claims.
